Artist's Comments

This is going to be the cover for Sherlock Holmes: The Painful Predicament of Alice Faulkner. The image was inspired by an illustration by Frederick Dorr Steele of William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes.

The cover was colored by Rori Shapiro who matched the original coloring to the Frederick Dorr Steele illustration perfectly!!

It's okay but my friend Rori is better than I am at coloring them. So, she's become my official colorist when it comes to these projects.

Not on Amazon? alternacomics.com is apparenty without idiotproofing, which makes it unlikely I will return there...

Oh I really love this. It reminds me a lot of Edward Gorey. I shall definitely check out this book.

Thank you :D It's been about 10 years in the making (in one form or another) but I'm very pleased it's finally in print :-)
