This is going to be the cover for Sherlock Holmes: The Painful Predicament of Alice Faulkner. The image was inspired by an illustration by Frederick Dorr Steele of William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes.
The cover was colored by Rori Shapiro who matched the original coloring to the Frederick Dorr Steele illustration perfectly!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
